Substitute Pay Rates
Daily Instructional Substitutes
Daily Rates (effective beginning of 2023-2024 school year)
- Non-Certified: $125 per day
- Certified: $146 per day
Additional Pay at Title I Schools
- $20 per day for each completed full-day assignment at a designated Title I school
- $10 per day for each completed half-day assignment at a designated Title I school
Monthly Bonus Program: Receive a bonus based on the number of completed assignments in any given month. Bonuses will be paid in the month following the month they were earned.
- $200 bonus for completing 5-9 assignments in one month
- $500 bonus for completing ten or more assignments in one month
Guest Teachers (Full-Time Instructional Subs)
- Guest Teacher Non-Certified: $3,432 per month*
- Guest Teacher Certified: $4,118.40 per month*
*First and last checks of the school year will be prorated based on number of days worked in the month. Guest teacher salaries are equalized so that the same salary is paid every month, including months where less days are scheduled to be worked.
